Yuma downtown (#0889)
Just an example of the architecture, and the reuse, of Yuma's older downtown. Like most older downtowns, it is no longer a major shopping area but the town seems be unusually successful at keeping the area thriving. The conditions of the buildings in the area suggested strong sentiments for historic preservation and there were a number of restaurants and clubs in the downtown area that made it a comfortable and enjoyable place to explore even on a midweek evening.
