I was surprised at how much graffiti there was around Berlin.

When I was there in the 1980s/1990s, it was difficult to make out that S-Bahn carriages were yellow because of the street "artist" embellishments.

I've come to develop something of an appreciation for this kind of graffiti since moving to Chicago. I used to discount all of it out of hand, but some of it is impressive work, and at times it can make strong statements that need to be made. I like these shaking fists, I think.
