Berlin neighborhood (#2000)
First morning in Berlin, mild weather and a quiet neighborhood -- good signs for explorations to come. Taken from the window of my room at the Rewari hotel, my base for the next 3 weeks.
The hotel was in the Kreuzberg area of Berlin that, during the Cold War, was a few blocks into the West Berlin section of the city. Whenever photos are from the former East Berlin section, I'll note that in the description and/or the keywords.
The white tent-like structure in the distance is the Tempodrom, a performance space. The space is currently in use, but I never encountered any noise or traffic related to its use.

I've never been, of course, so this is all made up, and I have no real reason for the belief.
Don Barrett (aka DBs… club has replied to ClintFYI, the building in the center predates the war. Also, this is in the former West Berlin.
