Berlin neighborhood (#0108)
Sculpture on the replacement of the Berlin-Anhalt railway bridge (now a pedestrian bridge) over the Landwehrkanal near my hotel.
Per Wikipedia, the railway was one of the first long-distance railways to Berlin and ended at the Anhalter Bahnhof. The line that once crossed here was used extensively in carrying Jews to the concentration camps (documented in later pictures)
