Adding to the mystery of the location was this underground bunker and then the sturdy fence. It was not a location where I felt comfortable exploring, even though there had been no 'keep out' sign.

Maybe it's me, but I often find myself feeling that Nevada towns that are close to the Calif border are more likely to have people rebelling against California politics. Somehow I don't sense that on the Oregon/Calif border.
