Palm Springs Tahquitz Creek Loop Bikeway (4559)

Palm Springs Tahquitz Creek Loop Bikeway (4559)
Along the Tahquitz Creek Loop bike route. When I first started riding it I wondered, when I found sections like this, whether I was supposed to ride on the street or on the sidewalk. I eventually figured out that if there is no striping on the street for a bike path, then you can assume the route runs on the sidewalk (as is the case here).

Part of an effort to provide some visual documentation of the extensive bikeways in Palm Springs. See the Palm Springs Bikeways album to see photos in geographical (not time) order.

Confusing signage seems to be one of the only constants of bikeways across the nation. It's one of those things over which I get into frequent arguments with people around here.

I wondered if that (unclear signs) was a constant. What really bothers me is the signs for turns that sometimes mean the next intersection (50 feet away), but other times mean 'now'.
