Denver, Co Cherry Creek (4638)

Boat lock on Cherry Creek, which runs along downtown and LoDo Denver. For 10 years up until 2013, dams were raised (see related pictures) during the summer and gondola rides were available on Cherry Creek. The rides were stopped due to a need to update the locks. I didn't find information on the age of the locks and dams, though they look older than 10 years.
