On the bikeway that runs along 111 (E Palm Canyon). There is a protected bikeway (out of traffic) along 111 for the 2.6 miles from Sunrise Way to the border of Cathedral City at Golf Club Drive.

This is far enough out that even during 'season' it won't get a whole lot busier. Bikes are very popular here with tourists, but they use cruisers provided or rented from their hotels or particular shops, and they mainly do short rides around and near downtown.
