Wallace Arnold P351 VWR and Titterington’s M439 ECS at The Smoke House Inn, Beck Row – 26 May 1998 (396-34)

Tuesday 26 May 1998 - The Smoke House Inn, Beck Row near Mildenhall was rather popular with a number of different tour companies as a base for their five day tours to different East Anglian tourist spots like Cambridge, Constable Country, Norfolk Broads, Suffolk Villages etc. The coaches tended to arrive on Monday afternoons and leave on Friday mornings. This photograph represents one of the larger companies and one of the smaller companies to use the hotel.

Left is Wallace Arnold P351 VWR, a Plaxton Premiere bodied Volvo B10M new in June 1997 and right is Titterington’s of Blencowe, Penrith M439 ECS, a Van Hool Alizée bodied Volvo B10M new in late 1994 or early 1995.
