Ambassador Travel 218 (BV19 XOZ) in Mildenhall - 1 Dec 2021 (P1100088)

Wednesday 1 December 2021 (1103) – Ambassador Travel 218 (BV19 XOZ) seen arriving in King Street, Mildenhall when working the 0915 National Express service 727 from Great Yarmouth to Heathrow Airport. It had been quite some time since Ambassador Travel had worked though Mildenhall for National Express and working the 727 was a new venture which began on 29 November 2021.

The coach is a Caetano Levante bodied Scania K360EB4 which was new in June 2019 to National Express owned West Midlands Travel as their 267.

Note the sad message in the window of Bussens and Parkin’s store which announces their pending closedown. The business had traded in Mildenhall since 1912.
