Stephensons of Essex 461 (EU60 CBF) in Mildenhall - 1 Dec 2021 (P1100086)

Wednesday 1 December 2021 (1103) – Stephensons of Essex 461 (EU60 CBF) seen in King Street, Mildenhall when working the 1020 service 16 from Newmarket to Bury St. Edmunds. It is an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro200 new in September 2010.

Following behind is Ambassador Travel 218 (BV19 XOZ), a Caetano Levante bodied Scania K360EB4 which was new in June 2019 to National Express owned West Midlands Travel as their 267. It was working the 0915 National Express service 727 from Great Yarmouth to Heathrow Airport.

Note the sad message in the window of Bussens and Parkin’s store which announces their pending closedown. The business had traded in Mildenhall since 1912.
