Wednesday 1 December 2021 (1104) – Activity in Mildenhall bus station.

A new timetable for the National Express service 727 commenced on 29 November which comprised two trips from Great Yarmouth to Heathrow, two trips from Norwich (UEA) to Heathrow and one trip from Norwich (UEA) to Stansted with corresponding return journeys.

National Express 323 (BF21 CZJ), a Caetano Levante 3 bodied Scania K410 new in July 2021 was working the 0915 service from Stansted to Norwich (UEA). This service was due her at 1100.

In the background is Stephensons of Essex 461 (EU60 CBF) was working the 1020 service 16 from Newmarket to Bury St. Edmunds due here at 1103. An Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro200 new in September 2010.

Mildenhall bus station comprises three kerbside loading bays (A,B and C) and both of the departures seen here are assigned bay A. However, NX 323 got there first. Not in the photograph is yet another 1100 bay A departure just about to roll in in the form of the 0915 service from Great Yarmouth to Heathrow Airport worked by Ambassador Travel 218 (BV19 XOZ),
