Thank you fraggs, it was warm and humid today but there was a breeze, so it wasn't too bad. This is a great place to walk or take a picnic lunch and just relax. :)

There are lots of great walking trails here, although not sure they are as dramatic as your Mountain Hiking Trails.

Andy we have close access to two mountain ranges; The Blue Ridge Mountains and The Appalachian Mountains.. If yiu have time you may find these links interesting .

Very thoughtful of you Chris. I much enjoyed the spectacular views as per the wonderful photos. I recently read Bill Bryson's 'A walk In The Woods' about his epic walk along the Trail and it was great putting some visual images up there with his humour and wit.
