Thank you very much Frans. Yes I know what you mean - it is often so quiet before a big storm. The first drops of rain were falling and minutes later it was no longer quiet but the air filled with the needle sharp sounds of the rain bouncing off everything it touched. Time to take cover! Very British I guess but I love that moment when the air is still, you can almost smell the storm in the air and then the first fat drops of rain fall as a warning to dive for cover before the Heavens open.. and then you have a good moan about the weather!!
