Ein tagaktiver großer Nachtfalter - A diurnal large moth- mit PiP
In natürlichen Wiesen tauchen manchmal tagaktive Nachtfalter wie diese bunte Spanische Flagge = Russischer Bär (Euplagia quadripunctaria) auf, welche wie hier im Bild an Blüten vom Ysop (Hyssopus officinalis) Nektar saugt. Ein wirklich farbenfrohes Erlebnis. Die Unterseite des Falters ist übrigens leuchtend rot (siehe PiP), wodurch diese Falterart schon im Flug ziemlich leicht erkannt werden kann.

In natural meadows sometimes diurnal moths like this colourful Jersey tiger (Euplagia quadripunctaria) appear, which sucks nectar on flowers of the hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis) like here in the picture. A really colorful experience. By the way, the underside of the butterfly is bright red (see PiP), which makes this butterfly species quite easy to recognize even in flight.
