the last sunset (?)

nobody knows how many sunsets, but especially sunrises ipernity will have still...

however, after my last experience with censorship by the iper team i decided to show my images in the future just in my "friend's area" again. so this will be my last really public picture for a while... the while depends on what happens here on this platform.

for all who are interested in my work: if you don't have access to my "friend's area" yet, you may ask for - don't be shy ! :-)
if you're too shy for asking, you may follow my doing at www.taonarts.com... there you don't see photographs like this one (without any processing), just artistical ones, images which are not much appreciated by the iper staff, more appreciated by the visitors of my exhibitions and accepted by international curators and which are hanging on some walls in the homes of friends of my work... ;-)
hope, this image is unoffending enough for the admins here... :-)

and: this is my support for the iper team to be more focussed onto the real problems of this community, now they don't have to take care anymore that one of my nude art images could come into "explore" (uuuh !) :-)))

i am a sponsor in the group "win a club membership" (http://www.ipernity.com/group/winclub) and i will do my job there as i promised to do, but these both actions are my last support for iper under this administration.

Beautiful sunset! I think it's outrageous that Ipernity wants to censor nude photos when they are a legitimate work of art. Maybe if they ran a museum, they'd be removing all the nude Picassos!

Irgendwo geht die Sonne immer auf...
und Untergänge sind kein Ende.

Eine Anmerkung noch weil ich dachte das da noch was kommt:
Was du da fotografiert hast ist nur Licht, keine Sonne.
Die Sonne war in dem Moment schon "wieder" hinter dem
Horizont verschwunden.

"Wieder" ... und noch mal ... und so weiter ...
Wie viele Sonnenuntergänge wir noch sehen...
zumindest ist wohl sicher das es weniger sind die wir sehen,
als die derer die es noch geben wird.
Und um noch mal "Klugscheissern" zu können...
die Sonne geht nie unter. Das sieht nur so aus weil wir uns drehen.

Spätestens jetzt lesen 80% hier nicht weiter....
das sind die 80% die nicht wissen was sie bei einem Sonnenuntergang
wirklich passiert... mit Ipernity ist es genau das gleiche ;)

aber katja, das wissen doch 80 % aller derer, die das lesen ! ;-)
bei einem "sonnenuntergang" handelt es sich um eine beibehaltene redewendung aus zeiten, da sich nicht einmal 0,8 % der leute, ob sie nun lesen konnten oder nicht (eher nicht), vorstellen konnten, dieses phänomen derart zu erklären, alle anderen nahmen es als "sonnenuntergang" wahr... heute ist diese bezeichnung eher als metapher zu verstehen und lässt sich sowohl literarisch als auch im normalsemantischen bereich trefflich einsetzen... ;-)

Got to say I was shocked to hear that your last image (.v.) had been censored Rob as for me this was art not pornography. I fail to see how it could be construed in such a way and I would plead with Team Ipernity if they are reading this to rethink their stance on such images.

I'm sure there are pornographic images on ipernity that could cause offence to some, but I genuinely don't think your work deserves to be treated as such. I hope you will continue to give me access to your Friends area so that I can continue to admire your creativity and be inspired by your creative processing techniques.

From what I'm seeing now, I think Ipernity is lurching backwards suspending accounts such as Modern eXposure Studio that presented tasteful nudes, censoring photographs that should be in Explore based on the site's algorithm that is impartial and objective and restricting viewing of outstanding digital works of art such as yours. I'm wondering if the IP team really is trying to force people to leave so they can find a reason to close the site.

iper began as a real extraordinnary platform with features other platforms never had, it was unique. everyone found his place here, normal photographers and also freaks of any kind. but the more economical the thinking of the team got, the more they've been interested in restrictive behaviour, the "freaks" disturbed, so they began to practice mobbing, suspended accounts of artists...
a platform of this size gets lost in the shuffle if it hasn't something special, something exceptional, but exactely that the team is trying to smash out. they're digging their own grave and they don't see it...

pourtant, ce n'est pas faute de tenter de leur ouvrir les yeux...

Very sad this Ipernity remains one of the cleanest platforms with unique features such as the translator and option to write articles.
