A created SIGURD (Hagen), die WALKÜRE (Hounding), OTHELLO (Ludovic), the MONTAGNE NOIRE (father Saval), the MASTERSINGERS of NUREMBERG (Pogner). At la Monnaie in Brussels, he created December 19, 1881 Hérodiade (Patrick) by Jules Massenet
