I thought you'd gone back to Iceland again this year, an had to check the date the photo was taken. The view of the sea is uncluttered, and the morning clouds are a lovely mix of soft grey and peach.

Thank you so much, Amelia! That would have been nice to return to Iceland;-) We had pretty bad weather that week in October some years ago, the morning of the photo was an exception.

Such an unusual looking lighthouse............I don't think I've ever seen on that small. It really stands out against that beautiful sky though (which I suppose is the point). Good to have some people in shot for scale too.

Two super PiPs, I like the close up of the lighthouse, but my fave is the shot through the window, with those amazing details, colours and reflections.

A smashing little series!

Großen Dank, Edna! Meine EXIFs sagen 9.53 Uhr, das ist aber deutsche Zeit (Sommer oder WInter- no idea...). Ich vermute es war kurz vor 8, wir hatten jedenfalls schon gefrühstückt und aus dem Hotel ausgecheckt.

Also 8.00 Uhr morgens geht ja noch ;-) Ich hatte es mir jetzt viel früher und daher noch schlimmer vorgestellt ;-))

Der Norden in der kalten Jahreszeit ist entspannend- da geht die Sonne nach dem Frühstück auf und vor dem Abendessen unter:-)

Sehr klein für einen Leuchtturm, aber wenn er auf der höchsten Stelle steht gleicht er das an Sichtbarkeit wieder aus.
