Such a magnificent view over the fence...............I love the vibrant green of the landscape and the snow-capped mountains make a majestic backdrop. I love the rustic fence too especially the lichen-covered fence posts. Lichen is supposed to be an indicator of good air quality!

Vielen Dank, Reinhard! Die Ecke ist leider eingezäunt, aber in den Bergen vorne gibt es tolle Wanderwege und am anderen Ende kann man auf einem naturbelassenen Fluss Kanu fahren.

A lovely but somewhat higgledy-piggledy fence, with posts that look as if they are covered in a species of lichen. I love those strange rolling hills, the shapes of which might be die to glaciation. All of this against a majestic landscape. It puts my little corner of Shropshire right in the shade. ;-))

Thanks very much, Amelia! Glaciation may well have had a hand in creating the rolling hills, it's sedimentary rock and used to be covered in native "bush" (woods).The first settlers cleared a lot of it, leading to erosion. The snow covered mountains are all active volcanoes.
