Rusty remains

Rusty remains
On 13th March 1948, the Grimsby steel trawler Epine GY7 struck rocks and was wrecked in a blizzard off Dritvik. Of the 19 crew only 5 survived. The remains of the trawler were washed up on Djúpalónssandur and are now protected (see inset photos).
