Merci vielmals, Tanja! Ja, hier war auch recht kalt, aber sonnig- und heute trüb mit Schnee, der nicht besonders liegenbleibt. Unten in der Stadt zwischen den Häusern wärmt es sich wohl genügend auf....

I think this may an early flowering cherry called Prunus subhirtella, Gudrun. It is a hardy small tree and often flowers as early as late autumn if the weather is mild. Lovely delicate photo.

Love the way you've captured this Gudrun. I agree it does seem too early, but then again when I followed the link it said this tree does have a propensity to flower during mild winter weather so perhaps not as worrying as it might seem! :)
