Merci, Udo! Die Strassenführung geht den Weg des geringsten Widerstands:-) Das Lavafeld vorher war richtig fies, da muss man viele km in die falsche Richtung fahren und dann im Bogen wieder zurück, anders kommt man nicht durch;-)

Thanks, Graham! This was an easy bit of road, there are long stretches through lava fields where it gets extremely bumpy;-)

Vielen Dank, Maik! Große Flächen im Hochland sind vulkanische Wüste und nicht besiedelt, bei einem Vulkanausbruch ist es hier sehr ungesund;-)

Herzlichen Dank, Uwe! LOTR hätte gut gepasst, war aber in Neuseeland. Auf Island wurden Teile von Game of Thrones gedreht, in einer ähnlichen Landschaft wie hier, nur weiter im Süden.
