CD 230 Hemingray glass insulators in service use

CD 230 Hemingray glass insulators in service use
An old pole in Bluffton, Indiana with a crossarm-hung transformer. All six glass insulators are CD 230 Hemingray 512 (D-512) insulators.

Please note: I've been going back and redoing my photos before I post them to make them slightly larger, but still not in full resolution. If you have a large monitor please click the photo to see in larger size. Thanks.

There are a few more poles I shot in Bluffton that have even wider braces. These are poles where the wires change directions.

This is a great photo and a great pole too. Those big braces add a bit of character to the crossarm, along with that high-hung transformer.
