Two CD 302 Hemingray glass insulators in service use along highway 20 in Ohio. Looks like the Red-winged Blackbird on the top wire enjoys the view of the glass insulator.

Nice shot! Also it's interesting seeing all-wood cross braces - normally they have metal ends for mounting like the lower set.

Thanks! I don't have a clue about the history. Someday I need to go back in the morning and get the lighting on the other side of same poles with the transfomers like in this shot.
