Abandoned CD 1104 glass spool insulators on mounting bracket
Wabash, Indiana

Six CD 1104 glass spool insulators on an abandoned mounting bracket on a building in Wabash, Indiana. Twice I've asked the owner of the building if I could get this bracket but was refused because of liability reasons.

Yeah, it would be so cool to have and display the whole bracket as it is, with wires and all.

Thanks! Maybe the wires never went inside the building, but there were more of these brackets at one time just to carry the wires along the building.

Thanks! Although I would love to have this for display, I think this would look so cool if it still had all the wires in use.

I agree--it would be good to incorporate this into a display somewhere. That'll be plenty better than what would happen if this building was renovated and it got thrown in the dump. I think this spool bracket would do well on a nice, weathered old pole.
