Nice close-up shot there. That insulator on the left is an oldie--probably predates that glass one on the right by a few decades.

Thanks! Collecting glass for 48 years I know my CD's pretty good, but porcelain U, M, and others are a lot more challenging, plus I have many books on glass insulators and none on porcelain.

That's DEFINITELY a nice porcelain piece - on a table of glass, a mud hound would definitely be picking up something like that for a closer look.
