Oh thanks for noticing about the focus! I thought that was what made this really work.

But I have to laugh - I know I label this "kitten", but my kittens have grown up very big and this boy is about 19 lbs little. He is definitely fluffy.

Why on earth didn't I see this one before? I just love it! I'm awfully sad because I had to say goodbye to my 18-year-old kitty three days ago. I keep thinking he's at the door, on lying on his orange blanket... I'll enjoy other people's cats, now.

i'm so glad you like it. but i'm sad to report that this, our beloved kitty jinks, disappeared with his sister one day about a month ago. his sister returned after a couple of days all freaked out, but he has yet to come back. i like to think that he got scared off by something and ran the wrong way only to find another family to live with. silly boy. but someone would be niced to him - he has such a silky soft coat and soulful eyes. every so often i call him. every so often i think he is at the sliding glass door. his sister has finally relaxed, but demands much more attention from me than before.

The worst thing about a lost pet is you never know what's happened. All you can do is hope, hope and hope they're okay. It's agony! Jambo was a black cat and my granddaughter chose his orange blanket. She thought it would be cute - Halloween cat! I can't move it, yet. :-(

I will hope with you that Jinks returns!

pets teach us so much, both when they are here and when they are gone. luckily you and i have good memories with our kitties.
