oh thank you, William. these are the trees i get to live under. they are hard to photograph, the angle never seems to be right, but i thought this one did the job.

Hope things are starting to look like this again. We missed the fires and smoke - left just before it all started and won't be home again for another week. We are in Northern Ireland visiting our daughter there - quarantined with her in a house on the coast the past two weeks and will have another week of freedom. Have heard from family in Washington how bad things have been there, though I understand they are a bit better the last few days.

Perfect timing on your part. (sorry, I didn't see this until just now)

As you must know by now, we are now having good air. Fires are not all out yet, but heading out instead of growing.

What a great place to get to visit. We were going to go to England (and Ireland maybe) in October, but we dont' have relatives to quarantine with and aren't even really going anywhere while here at home, so it will be delayed.
