What a lovely display to share a few of this little island's treasures. The main image makes me laugh but also, I am backing away with much concern--aggressive indeed! :D They look like bouncers who've decided that you're not up to snuff! :D A fine picture though, you brave man! I hope you avoided getting pecked at! :D (The only thing I can compare lately are the oft-visits of the wild turkeys who love our property and I saw them this morning on my walk too. I have read that many wild turkeys are both aggressive and mean but ours have always been gentle and timid, though not terrified of us as we never move on them and stop if they become nervous. We adore our modern dinosaurs so very much and it's so nice they are gentle, dear creatures to enjoy, rather than be cautious of because they are aggressive like those Bouncer Geese! :D

Nice to see your pictures again and to know that you are doing just fine. Your images remind me of a long-ago visit to the island of Poros, near Greece, where I spent a day as part of a group tour when I was just 21. Heh...the site of an extremely important life lesson in the section of, "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! YOU COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED!" I met a fellow with a motor bike and agreed to go off with him to a rocky beach quite a ways from town. He became extremely forward with me and I got very nervous and asked to return to my hotel...at which point we left and he stopped at his apartment "to show me where he lived"...yeah...right...and though I didn't want to go in, he got me to enter his little place and proceeded to make advances...I am extremely lucky that he didn't force the issue--what could I have done?--and eventually took me back, in a bad temper and drove off in a huff. All I could do was shake and thank my lucky stars that I got out of that situation without being mauled... Lesson Forever Learned. YIKES!

And still--I am looking forward to some day visiting Greece and its lovely islands, and your great photography is always such fun for me to appreciate!
