From Church Hill, a row of Purbeck stone cottages surround the Mill Pond in the old part of Swanage. The pond is fed by water from an underground source originating under the Purbeck Hills.

I am pleased you like this shot. I have wondered where the Mill Pond was for many years! At last, with my daughter's help we tracked it down. Such a pretty part of Swanage....it's probably a good job it is well hidden!

Thank you so much Fabio. This was the original village of Swanage but now it is surrounded by a town. I is still a great place to visit, but I am always drawn to the old buildings.
