It's a great view you have with snow on the distant mountains. Planes are rare these days but I still wonder why there are quite so many overflying us.

Yes, we do have a great view. I haven't posted photos of it recently due to persistent fog and low cloud and general winter mirk, but today proved to be an exception! Plus the rare contrail!

Beautiful vista with the snowy mountains. Fife is generally remarkably plane free. We used to get occasional low flying aircraft from the Leuchars Air Base but not now. Really the most common sight is gliders and small planes from Fife airport. Can't say I'm sorry.

I've always wanted to visit Fife. I have had an abiding interest in medieval (and older) Scottish history for yonks (no idea why - I don't have any family connections here!) and this area is central to understanding what was going on with Picts, Gaels, etc.
