A very wet and cold shock!
Parque del Oeste, Madrid.
I was lining up a shot when the sprinklers came on at full force and the twin spurt of the one you can see here, came straight up between my legs and knocked me off my feet! I managed to take the shot you see and held on to my smartphone! But for 20 minutes it looked like I had had an unfortunate accident!

It always amazes me when there are water shortages most summers, that they still keep the parks looking like English Country gardens in about may!!

Thank you all!
Andy Rodker club has replied to Diane Putnam clubAs far as embarrassment is concerned, nothing compares with a school trip to Holland aged 11. I must have found something at breakfast that didn't agree with me. We were in Rotterdam and walking along a quayside with shops on one side.
I suddenly had need of a very swift c..p, I saw on the dock side of the road a piece of waste ground. And (oh joy of joys) a telephone directory lying there. And the space was obscured from the road by a huge pantechnicon. So I set about my business in relative relief.
Alas!
The lorry decided that this was the ideal moment to pull away. I was thus exposed to the whole of Rotterdam's Saturday morning shopping crowd.
Believe me,Diane nothing since has been that embarrassing!
