Igualmente, Maggie! The weather here is the same as with you. Sheer, dreary misery and tonight hurricane strength winds forecast and I can hear them whipping up as I type!

It is really so obvious that the railway station is amazingly clean and tidy

They have armies of cleaners sweeping away merrily all day, Jenny! Usually tiny South American ladies. One day I might go into the reasons behind all this!

Yes, Dave. There was mass immigration from South America in the 90s and 00s during a boom in the economy when Spain couldn't get enough workers for it's rapidly expanding construction industry and these ladies mainly took jobs such as cleaners and home helps.

Catching a train, Andy? HFF

Cercanias, Isabel, everyday, as well as metro, buses and plenty of walking to and from classes all over Madrid.

I have always admired people that live in big towns for that.... it would kill me!!!!

You can see from my photos generally, Isabel that my heart isn't here but in the country! But if I see something of interest in the city I will stop (if I have the time!!!!).
