Carn Galva tin mine, pumping engine house.

Carn Galva tin mine, pumping engine house.
Located between the hill of Carn Galva seen here and the coast at Bosigran, in Zennor Parish, this was only in operation for a couple of decades in the mid to late 19th century. The ruin to the right is the pumping engine house for the mine.

Built more in hope than expectation. These ones on this stretch of coast were never as productive as the great mines of Levant, Bottallack, etc just a few miles further west.
