It's been snowing and snowing, then raining, freezing, then snowing some more. So far it adds up to about 12-18 inches of snow. Icy driving conditions.

Even more so, now! Oh well, I can at least have something to brag about, with others having no snow whatsoever. Thanks, Bill.

True, it's weather chaos in much of the mid-south. YOU stay safe! Watch out for those funnels!

Haha - no! If they did, I am disappointed that I did not see them. Thank you for your star, Marije!

Yes, we have coyotes, bears and cougars, but they don't come into town. Deer, raccoons and skunks do walk around, though.

We have coyotes routinely in our exurb, plus skunks, etc. If you value your kitty you keep her indoors 24/7! And they get bears and cougars now and again in SW Reno--when my sister lived there, they had to get the Nevada Dept. of Wildlife to come get a cougar in a tree in their yard--

Haha! It's no SO COLD. Honestly, I rarely go out except to visit my mother a couple of times. Monday, I have to start picking up my granddaughter from school again, driving very slowly on all the ice. I just feel lucky I am not being flooded out. Ugh, that's awful and so much worse this year in the rest of the country. Stay dry and I'll stay warm. (Hate to see my heating bill!)

It's so nice to see a real winter this year. The local weatherman said the Sierras locally have gotten more snow in December than we got all last season! Maybe it's a drought-breaker...

Yes! I hear that it still hasn't hit S. CA, yet, so hope their rain arrives. For most of us, though, it's all about the snowpack, which we haven't had in a couple of years. Last year, there was a Big None at Crater Lake - unheard of. Hope the drought turns around.
