Thanks Eva. The left field had livestock (sheep)in it, whereas the right side was more designer gardens. I presume they don't want the sheep to wreck these gardens. Not unusual to see fences like this -especially for people -to stop them wandering to the wrong side :)

I think so Eva, as the fence also holds a mesh fence that is only there for small animals but I really can't be sure what the landowners had in their minds. ~ H

It made me smile as I was in Ashbourne in 1984 and the chap on the fuel pump couldn't understand my accent! He eventually said....Oh feel it ooop! That's what I said ;-)) Great fish and chips there though.

Thanks for all this Rosa. You know that I like to consider viewpoints etc. Good that you enjoyed the Cyprus shot too. Aye - Ashbourne was a great village too. I have no problems with the accents there as it has similarities to ours here in Owldum (Oldham). We had our lunch in a posh delicatessen cafe whilst there. No common fish-n-chips for us -worst luck! As I write this the term fish-n -chips is voiced on the radio and I smell the same home-made, arriving at our dinner table :) -serendipity!!

Glad you liked this sweeping path Peter. You did leave me a big comment on that original bridge photo too. It is probably that, that you remember! I do hope that the weather is kind for you if you do go this Sunday. This path runs from the village up to the hall so you can't miss it. I hope you get something as good or even better.
