Reed Warbler

Reed Warbler
My wife went to the hairdressers I took my long lens and waited patiently on the Boardwalk on the lake.

This was deep with in the trees thank goodness for focus tuning...the bird has just eaten a grub and has its foot on a Stick Insect next in line. Its good the lens does not show the leaves and brush in between.

Nouchetdu38, Stephan Fey, Luc Reiniche, Gillian Everett and 14 other people have particularly liked this photo

Thank you Nick the rest of the shots where just as good but I did like the birds stance as if it hear the camera and was checking but went straight on to eating the Stick Insect.

Great colours

The blur is a natural of the very long lens and max aperture but it was easier to get the camera to focus on the leaves between. This I why with birds I have only one focus point I am forcing the camera to do what I want to focus on. Came out very well certainly made my day. Glad you enjoyed it.
