Narcissus pseudonarcissus and Dutch crocus

Narcissus pseudonarcissus and Dutch crocus
The only daffodil in the whole of our garden that has manged to raise its head above the snow today.

Treasa Ui Cionaodha, Eve, Josiane Dirickx, ColRam and 25 other people have particularly liked this photo

Same here, except the bitterly cold wind has dried up some areas and snow is blowing in from elsewhere.

Mine were just starting to recover from the last time it snowed Amelia! They do seem to perk up very quickly when it's gone, thankfully. Lovely shot.

Lovely spring colours. I've got one that's been on the verge of opening for a fortnight but the cold and snow is putting it off. Last year at his time my crocuses were wonderful and full of bees. This year they are so battered they are giving up the ghost and there's not a bee in sight.

Even the Tête-à-Tête (which now have reverted to being only Tête here) are buried under snow, and they are normally the hardiest of small daffodils. It's supposed to start thawing today, so let's hope the garden turns back to yellow, green purple and pink. ;-)

So sieht es auch in unserem Garten in Norddeutschland aus. Trotzdem freut man sich über jede kleine Blüte!
