It's a good job that it's dull and cold outside, Judith. I don't think I'd have bothered myself with this challenge otherwise. ;-)
I took a couple of photos yesterday, and have now created a PiP to get some practice in.

I like the second shot very much. That works. Although, I would have used selective colors for the right red shoe as well.

I can only be selective to a certain extent, Sami. That would be a footstep too far. ;-)

Good idea, Amelia !

Great use of selective colour Amelia..............and an interesting way of passing the time whilst we have these unrelenting grey skies.

I wear walking boots pretty much all the time. I normally find some I like and then buy two pairs at a time. I generally only get rid of a pair when they are thoroughly worn out (or until the Boss tells me too).!

Love even more the second one with different shades of grey... well done both

I also love the second picture as well, Amelia, and I also like the use of just coloring one shoe; it highlights it and makes the composition interesting. ;-)

So you managed to do it, and so well! An excellent idea choosing shoes! I see you have nice comfortable ones:-)
btw Lightroom is considerably easier than Photoshop, much more intuitive...

I only have 2 pairs of uncomfortable shoes which I have worn to weddings,and which I always manage to remove for the dancing, Gudrun, These are the typical of the things I put on my feet. The other mainstays are wellies, Scottish country dancing pumps, walking sandals and a pair of Crocs which are useful for nipping in and out of the back door. ;-)

I don't remember one Amelia. If there was, I probably did it accidentally!! Now as soon as layers are spoken of....I don't understand it!

Well taken and processed, Amelia. There's nothing like having a pair of well worn boots for comfort.

I don't have many pairs of boots or shoes, George, but my main criterion these days, and has been for the last 30 odd years, is comfort.
