Well after I'd cut the grass I'd come in and started cooking supper and I looked out the window and realised that there was probably going to be a good sunset. I stopped the cooking and got the camera out and shot off to Westward Ho, to the pebble ridge to be exact. As I got there a big roll of cloud was starting to cover the sun and I was spitting feathers I can tell you, but I noticed that the sky was clear behind it all and therefore the clouds would disappear before the sun actually went down.

I stayed there, braving the cold wind - and believe me - it WAS COLD.

When the sun went behind the cloud it was really cold, but when the clouds started disappearing, it was slightly warmer. It was surprising how few people there were on the beach - I mean it's a huge beach, the tide was almost out and there was hardly anyone there. There were the odd people there and it's really lovely how chatty they were who passed me, commenting on the beautiful sunset, how long they were staying here, or how often they come here with their dogs - you know the friendly way of chatting to strangers. Well I wasn't disappointed with the way the sunset went - after all the sunsets that turned out to be damp squibs lately............

I'm sorry if I've bombarded you with all these pictures, but I was so pleased with the sunset and I'd been clicking away like nobody's business, that I couldn't decide which ones to show you.

Today has dawned sunny, but now the clouds are rolling in, which wasn't supposed to happen according to the weather experts.............grrrrr. If the sun stays out, I might just go out into the driveway and do some weeding - there again I may not.... LOL. Hope you all have a great day.
