This image has a very beautiful analogous colour scheme, Rosa. The greenery goes well with the harling, which in turn goes well with the brown roof tiles. Cheers, Joe

A little corner that seems lost in time...except for the solar panels ;-) I once looked at this house when it was for sale and had not been modernised. I didn't like the feel of it, but the garden and outbuildings are great. Thanks for your kind comments. Cheers, Rosa.

A lovely image of bygone England, with the white window and solar panels I would think they are not listed, lovely weathered milestone, I hope you have a nice Thursday Rosalyn , it's stopped raining !!!!

Not sure if it is listed Peter, but the solar panels are on the outbuilding. I love the old mile stones. There are still a lot around. Bright and breezy here. Have a good day.

What an attractive looking pair of buildings..............like Joe, I really like the colour palette and the details you've captured (even though I had to google "Harling", and analgous colour colour scheme") :-))

I like the milestone as well..............we see very few down this end of the country, and I've never seen one with an iron plaque on it.

A cracking pair of images Rosa!

The parts in the picture are only a small part of both buildings. Yes the harling, (I also looked it up Keith!), lime finish for protection is probably needed because of the position of this house. I hadn't thought about the analogous colours, but they are natural and I can see what Joe means.

There are quite a few mile stones down here. In fact one right opposite my house! Many thanks for your kind comments. I hope all went well today.

Qué lugar más bonito y tranquilo. Paneles solares será bueno ahí, para asegurar electricidad. El colorido es genuino y buen encuadre, aparte el complemento del mojón buen detalle.

The mellow stone and the old rooftiles are beautiful but it's also good to see the solar panels on the other roof- tradition and progress go together well:-)

Fine old buildings Rosa. I like the earth tones of the walls and roof and the greenery on the walls making the buildings appear to grow out of the ground.

Hi Peter,
This house is very "tucked away" in a nearby village.
I do feel lucky having these places so near, but I can't wait to see Sophie again and have a trip to the seaside!
Best wishes and take care,
Rosa.
