I wish you luck, Rosa. I haven't had a problem with uploading (yet!).
I'm not aware of an e-mail uploading option, unless you mean uploading through a phone rather than a computer (?).

No I always upload through the computer Andy. In the upload option it won't let me browse computer! On the left there is an option to upload by email, so I tried that for the first time ever, but I would rather go back to my usual way. Very strange!

Good morning Rosalyn I have had that problem since we were not able to upload, I tried e-mail that didn't work so I have being using drag and drop, I have a desk top and a laptop so it's not the computer. Nicely captured with the bands of colour. Clear blue sky and bright sun but still very cold I hope you have a pleasant day

That's interesting Peter. Until yesterday everything was fine. I don't seem to be able to drag and drop either. I used to watch the birds make their nest in this chimney, but with new house owners, they don't have that option now! I hope you have a pleasant day too.

What is different than yesterday? Has there been some software updates?

I have now tested the Uploader on Chrome for Android and Windows, and no problems here.

It could help to find the cause if we get to know more details:

1) Browser and version of it.
2) Operating system and version of it (Mac, Windows or Linux).
3) Some screen captures shared on what the situation looks like.
4) If you recall some updates done on the computer since yesterday.

It's Windows 10 and Chrome 88
I think there were some updates yesterday.
I can't do a screenshot, but the "Browse computer" option has gone pale and unresponsive.

From the top URL bar, open 'Not secure' > 'Site settings'

Then check if you find there some restrictions, which may prevent for example:

1) Pop-ups and redirects, should be allowed.
2) Ads maybe allowed. We have no adds anyway.
3) Insecure contents allowed.

The Chrome update may have taken even more aggressive approach on http web sites like ipernity. Strange though that no one else have not experienced this. I have the same version of Chrome, just updated.

I have to go out but will try this later. Pop-ups are blocked as they annoy me, but will see what I can do. Thank you for your help and I will let you know how I get on later.

One can allow pop-ups for some web sites separately through the way I showed. There are no automatic advertisement pop-ups at ipernity.

Discovered that it maybe was our fault of letting out an update for Uploader page too soon. It just did not got spread to all servers yet.

It should be fixed now. Try to refresh the Uploader page with Ctrl+F5 key combination. And just restarting the browser can help as well.

These are very good pointers from Sami. As already mentioned in the club news, the upload works perfectly fine for me via Firefox and Chrome. So it can't be because of ipernity.

I really like the light in this shot..............and especially the strong colours. The brickwork of the chimney looks really wonderful. The two silhouetted birds are lovely!

With drag and drop there is a time lag after you release the drop before the photo number appears and you can continue. I wonder how many have the same problem? both of my computers are apple

It seems that there was a problem, which is fixed now for my computer. I don't have any Apple products, but maybe you should mention your problem to the team. They were very helpful to me. I still don't get the daily emails, which I really miss. They kept everything up to date.
