Gathering nest material seems to be the in activity just now. Maybe it's like panic buying. Somebody starts and everyone else rushes to join in. A lovely capture.

It's a busy time of the year for them, one built near my kitchen window but I don't think it's using it blackbirds do tend to do that for some reason. Micro four thirds a much better option than full frame and despite what you may read from canon fans the image quality is just as good, there is nothing magical about full frame read the history. Back again when something like normal life resumes Olympus have some thing called Test and Wow you can borrow their cameras and lens for three days at no cost. The number of stores you can borrow from is limited I had to go to Birmingham

Yes, I have found that too Peter. Strange isn't it! It seems that if they think you have seen their nest, they leave it. That's why I don't go near where I think this one is building its nest.
I will have more time now to look for another camera on-line, but I'm not prepared to pay silly money for it. After all, it is just a hobby. Take care!
