Does the tractor ever get used Rosa? My late Father was stationed at Yoevilton for some time. Occasionally he would fly over our house and waggle his wings ~~~

I don't expect so Nick. There are 3 dotted around the farm. I suppose they are aesthetically pleasing :) Wow, what fun it must have been to see your father fly over your home! We used to go to the occasional disco at Yeovilton in the late 60's. They were good!

het word nu wel tijd dat de boer de tractor eens een likje verf geeft,want die tractor was al roestig op jouw oude opname op Panoramio.....jaren geleden.
By the way,de jaarlijkse vliegshow in Yeovilton gaat niet door dit jaar. (11-07-2020)

Thank you Frans. There are three tractors like this on the farm. I don't think any of them will be in use again ;-)) It is a shame about the air show, but everything is being cancelled unfortunately!

A lovely scene in the main image Rosa...........it looks like an orchard and is very well kept, probably by the sheep keeping the grass short! I like the idea of having redundant farm machinery as "ornaments" around the farm. As you say, they're very photogenic.

Two lovely PiPs as well............the first could have been your main image as it's a stunning, landscape. The helicopter was probably checking to see if you were having any illegal gatherings :-))

The weather has been beautiful lately.............I feel so privileged to have a garden and quite guilty thinking about my younger daughter stuck in her first floor flat with two autistic children :-(

Thank you Keith. That orchard is really like the old farms used to be. The farmer lets it to a local man and there are turkeys and lots of hens in there besides the sheep and their lambs. It is lovely to stand and just watch them :)

Maybe I should have made the landscape picture the main one! I did wave to the helicopter ;-) I'm keeping strictly legal...I want this time over with asap!

We are very lucky to have out gardens. I feel so sorry for people with kids in flats. Your daughter must be going through a terrible time! You just feel so helpless when you can't help. Let's hope we all get through this well, and what a great time we can have afterwards with our children and grandchildren. Take care Keith.

Cracking series here Rosa. The main shot of the tractor with the missing tyre, perfectly framed by the trees is really good, so much going on with sheep and chickens. The second shot is a great representation of an English rural scene at this time of year. I think the helicopter in the final shot is a RN Augusta Westland AW159 Wildcat. Nice catch!
