Two lovely images Rosa. I think your experiment with the Magnolias and the overlay has turned out very well. I especially like the Twisted Hazel shot though..........the Magnolia bokeh is gorgeous, as are the catkins.

I have a small Twisted Hazel in my garden, but the catkins are miniscule at the moment. I have two nearby neighbours with flowering Magnolia trees, but we're due some frost next week and I wonder if they'll survive.

Thank you Keith. I debated whether to upload the main shot or not, so I am pleased with the response. The twisted hazels look so nice either side of my neighbour's magnolia tree.

Oh dear, I didn't know we were due frosts! Will have to take care of all the early new growth in the garden.
