They used to be part of a weather vane on my roof Nouchet, but they rattled too much and kept me awake, so I found a better place for them ;-)) I am pleased you like them. Wishing you a good week ahead.

Nice and cheerful look into the garden Rosalyn, It doesn't seem like it but winter is being slowly edged out to make way for the Spring. We have buds on the Tulips but the Daffs are just about showing above ground.

All my full size daff's are flowering and standing up quite well to the winds Maurice, but the miniature ones are just starting to grow. I haven't seen signs of the tulips yet though.
Have a good week ahead...not a very good weather forecast!!

Oh yes, very good advice Peter ;-) They used to be part of a weather vane on the chimney, but they are happier down on the ground. Hope you have a good week ahead, despite the weather forecast!

Good to see your daffs are surviving Rosa. We have some miniature ones that have bloomed, but the others are only just now poking through the soil. I have to go hunting in town for mine!

Love this shot, the owls complement the flowers nicely. They're pretty scary for owls though, I think they look kind of demonic :-))

Some and some Keith. My miniature ones aren't near flowering yet!
Had to smile that you thought the owls looked demonic...they used to be on the roof as part of a weather vane, but the little devils used to keep me awake at night, with their rattling! That's why they are now in the garden, and looking rather snooty I thought ;-) Pleased you like this shot though.

Beautiful daffodils nicely captured Rosa, they would have struggled to upright in todays wind over this side of the county at least

Thank you. It is beginning to show more colour, but the poor daffodils are struggling to keep straight in the recent winds.

Hi Rosa,

I do like these wise owls!!
Good to see the daffs are coming out. In the past couple of days I have noticed a whole profusion of these appearing at the side of the road. Just right for St David's day!!

Best Wishes
Peter

Hi Peter,

Yes, plenty for St David's Day. My Welsh neighbour has lots in his front garden too!
The owls were part of a weather vane on the roof, but they clanged about too much so I brought them down to earth!!

Best wishes, Rosa.

NO, I didn't. You know why ?! It rained AND snowed about all day !!! and the temperature is very low: between 2 and 4° Cesius depending the time and where we were (:o((
