Sanders Coaches SK07 CGG in Mundesley - 15 Mar 2022 (P1110036)
Tuesday 15 March 2022 (1416) – The small Norfolk seaside town of Mundesley has a rather unusual memorial to commemorate the lives of 27 Royal Engineers lost between 1944 and 1953 in their work to clear the nearby beaches of mines. The memorial features a 500kg German World War 2 bomb set nose down on a granite base.

Sanders Coaches SK07 CGG, a Wright Eclipse Urban bodied Volvo B7RLE that was new to Lothian Buses (150) in May 2007, is passing by when working the 1315 service 34 from Stalham to North Walsham.

A few minutes earlier the bus had travelled along this road in the opposite direction as it worked its normal route. Due to the closure of the road to Knapton the service had to be diverted and so a North Walsham bound service would not normally have been seen working in this direction.
