Yorkshire Rider 7221 (XBU 17S) in Halifax – 11 Sep 1988 (74-35)

Sunday 11 September 1988 – Yorkshire Rider bought quite a number of secondhand vehicles from Greater Manchester Buses (GM Buses). 7221 (XBU 17S), a Northern Counties bodied Leyland Fleetline new to Greater Manchester PTE in July 1978, was seen in King Edward Street, Halifax.

Halifax is the home of, and gives its name to, the famous Building Society. One of their main properties in the town centre can be seen on the left although the long frontage runs the whole of one block of Commercial Street which crosses the background of this photograph.
