National Express poster at Mildenhall Post Office - 4 Jul 1999 (418-26)

Sunday 4 July 1999 (0950) – Mildenhall Post Office, at the time located in Mill Street, acted as the National Express booking agent and this window pane contained publicity material.

Not a ‘Crown Post Office’ (that is to say it was not owned and operated by the Post Office Authority) it was classed as a sub post office and was operated by private individuals. As such it also traded as a shop selling an array of different goods some of which are on display within and also featured a photo processing service.
