Cambus Limited 421 (JVF 421V) in Cambridge – 8 Jun 1990 (119-19A)

Cambus Limited 421 (JVF 421V) in Cambridge – 8 Jun 1990 (119-19A)
Friday 8 June 1990 – Cambus 421 (JVF 821V) seen as it left Drummer Street bus station in Cambridge. It is a Plaxton Supreme bodied Leyland Leopard that had been new to Eastern Counties (LP821) in January 1981. In the split of Eastern Counties it passed to Ambassador Travel before then reaching the Cambus fleet.

Apparently this was an experimental livery which was only seen on this one coach for just a short period which also carried the ‘CamCoach’ fleetname.

On the right is Sampson Coaches and Travel of Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire A137 RMJ. Full photo: www.ipernity.com/doc/davidslater-spoddendale/42695794
